Event Description

Game Designing the Future:
How analog game designers are changing the world, one system at a time.
In this talk, Game Designer and Vision Consultant Heather Logas will discuss applications of analog (non-digital) game design to creating a better world and more rosy future. With examples from art, business and social justice, Heather will show how game makers are creating empathy, solving problems, and she’ll share how she’s using analog game design in her own practice to solve systems-based business and design problems.

About Our Speaker
Heather Logas (@systemsleuth) has been a professional game and systems designer for over fifteen years. She holds an MFA from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a MS from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has a gift for seeing and mapping underlying systems while always keeping the human element in view. Heather believes in the power of systems thinking and uses game and system design techniques to help small business teams come back into alignment and rediscover their authentic purpose.
