Event Description

Scot Hacker used Django to create a social network, Bucketlist.org, where individuals can go to catalog all the things they wanted to accomplish before they died, to share inspirations, encourage others toward completion of their goals, and to add rich media to their stories. The site has grown to more than 60,000 posted items and more than 3,000 users in less than a year. Hacker will demonstrate the finer points of the site, lessons learned about the psychology of end users, and will show how Django made the project do-able.
