Be a VOLUNTEER Design Teacher/TA this Fall for Youth Education Non Profit

Share your Knowledge and your Passion with our Bay Area Youth by Volunteering as a Teacher/Teaching Assistant this Fall!

Topic: "Technological tools to resolve basic needs"

(Spring & Fall - 6 Saturdays, 9am - 2pm)
• In-depth focus on a particular design challenge, based on a class theme.
• Must be able to commit to a 5 month time frame that includes working with your partner, preparation meetings and the 6 Saturday classes.

TAs in the Fall will serve as support for the teachers. They must be able to commit to 3 consecutive classes. They will assist students during class time and help the teachers with tasks such as planning and running brief games/exercises, photo documenting classes and scanning and uploading student work.

Fall Session dates:
1st Teacher's meeting: August 20
1st Half: Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8
2nd Half: Oct 15, Oct 22, Oct 29
Reception: Nov 12

Inneract Project

is a professionally supported program that provides free design classes for inner-city youth, in order to channel their creativity into viable career paths. Classes are free and taught at both the Academy of Art University and Ex'pression College for Digital Arts by local design professionals.
