I have a 6-month contract for two Information Architects / Interaction Designers / User Experience Designers in Milpitas.  The company is redesigning web applications to measure and improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes.  The is a possibility of contract to hire at the end of the contract.  The company has 140 employees and has received venture funding to help it expand.  Part of the funding is going into the redesign of their three web applications.  The applications are used by doctors, nurses, and patients to record incidents relating to quality of care and outcomes.  These contractors will be given a lot of autonomy in the redesign effort, interfacing directly with product management, developers, and even customers.  The ideal candidate will have some visual design ability in addition to a strong interaction design skill set.
