Call for session ideas now open!
Conferences are made by the people who devote their time to thinking of interesting things to say and do at them, so we're happy to announce that the call for session ideas for Interaction15 is now open. Thanks for your patience!
WHAT KIND OF SESSIONS WILL THERE BE?
The types of session that we are accepting submissions for are a 50 minute talk, a 2 hour workshop, a 4 hour workshop, or a 50 minute panel discussion followed by an up to 50 minute Q&A discussion between the same panellists and the audience (this final session format is pretty flexible.)
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT MY IDEA?
We will keep accepting submissions until midnight PT on the 19th of September 2014.
HOW ARE SESSIONS SELECTED?
We have a council of eight practising interaction designers who will be reviewing every submission in the last week of September and the first week or so of October. We'll let people who have been successful in their submission know at that time.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY IDEA?
That's easy -- we've made a form for you to fill out here!
And coming up next...
We're hard at work getting the rest of the conference in place, and over the next couple of weeks we'll be making more exciting announcements around keynotes, talks, workshops and panel discussions that we've got lined up, as well as some of our plans for how the conference is going to connect with the vibrant design scene in the Bay Area.
We're also going to be announcing details of the Education Summit very soon, and giving people a chance to purchase tickets for the day that we've devoted to that. The program for this is also shaping up to be quite something, and we can't wait to share it with you.
So stay tuned, and if you haven't got your ticket yet, now is a good time to do that...
