Our client, a major e-commerce retailer, is looking for contract Product Manager
with extensive content and usability experience.  This is a business critical role for a highly
visible site.  The person hired for this position will be responsible for helping to deliver
the next version of our client’s website. In this role, you will be the
representative of the business, clients, and the front-end development teams.
You will ensure that they have everything they need to create the first-class
website they expect – clear requirements, specs, designs, etc. Where things are
not clear, you will work with business and technical teams to clarify the
approach. After that, you will check what has been done to see that it
meets/exceeds expectations. 

must have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management with a successful history of
    launching highly effective products for large transactional websites.
  • 5-7 years of consumer based online experience

  • Advanced proficiency in OmniGraffle Pro, Photoshop, MS Office and other
    industry-standard tools.

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and practical organizational planning skills.
    Superior relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills within
    cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to identify and understand issues related to both the internal and external
    client, and develops innovative solutions.

  • Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs, and in
    working with diverse teams & people. Proven multi-tasking skills, ability
    to meet critical deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects — work prioritization, planning, task
    delegation, and work with peers in a cross-functional setting.

  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to ferret out the simple, practical solution over
    the overwrought and complicated.

  • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and be able to operate effectively without close

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
