Visual Interaction Designer (Permanent and Contract Position)

Help fight crime with great design! We’re leading the fight against online crime using pattern recognition and behavior analysis algorithms. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, will be to reveal the patterns of criminal behavior hidden in our customer’s data. In this position, you will :
Get to know our customers and discover their unspoken needs.
Design all visual aspects of a complex data intensive HTML5\CSS3 app.
Develop prototypes in collaboration with developers.
Establish visual standards to communicate and reinforce brand.
Work collaboratively with super smart engineers to craft your design vision.

Responsibilities:
+ work with product management to understand, discover and define customer needs
+ design interactions for a complex web application
+ develop visual design standards and implement across multiple technology stacks (Flex and HTML/JS/CSS)
+ work closely with developers on design implementation
+ iterate designs based on usability testing and other forms of customer interaction

Qualifications:
+ portfolio showing interaction design and visual design work on a web application
+ experience working closely with developers on design implementations
+ excellent communication skills
+ experience working in an agile environment
+ experience designing data visualizations a plus
