Ron began his studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where he focused on cognitive psychology and visual arts before returning to the West Coast to receive a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts cum laude from San Jose State University School of Art & Design’s CADRE Laboratory for New Media. He returned to the East Coast to receive a professional Master’s Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program within New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. His unique blend of knowledge in traditional design, human factors, user experience and technology brings an unconventional perspective to projects ranging from interfaces in the Web, TV, and mobile space to convergent software/hardware design solutions.

Prior to joining LUNAR, Ron has worked for over 5 years in the field of user experience design, designing in both consulting environments as well as in-house. He has worked with companies ranging in size from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies with a variety of specialties including consumer technology, digital entertainment and publishing. His previous clients include AT&T, Samsung, Microsoft, Nokia, Adobe, Disney, and McGraw-Hill Companies.

When not designing, Ron is a musician and a visual artist based out of San Francisco. His work has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, GenArtSF's "Emerging Artists" series, The Exploratorium, New Langton Arts, the California Modern Gallery as well as other national and international venues.
