Title Mary Baumgartner Bio Mary's background in visual communications (fine arts and graphic design) provides a unique foundation for approaching design problems along with a great sensitivity to the end user's experience. Beginning her career as a visual designer in the early '90's Mary's curiosity quickly inspired a migration into User Interface Design. Seeking clients and projects that would stretch her understanding and skills, she developed a keen sense for workflow and information design. At the height of the dot com boom Mary was the UI Design Director for a design consultancy in Silicon Valley working exclusively on B2B web based applications for clients such as Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, Market Tools (Zoomerang) and others. Mary has continued to seek compelling consulting engagements throughout the last decade serving; Williams Sonoma, Gap, Autodesk, Apple Computer, Symantec, and Wells Fargo for nearly two and a half years on two major initiatives, as well as multiple advertising agencies on projects for Safeway, McAfee, Clorox Brands, Diageo Chateau and Estate Wines and others.
