  • Sasha Lubomirsky : User Research Lead at AirBnB, formerly of Google & Android
  • Mark Trammell - @trammell : former Senior User Researcher at Twitter
  • Jackie Cerretani Frank : @jackiecf : Research Manager at Facebook

This is shaping up to be a special evening, rife in comedic hilarity but guaranteeed to both inform and entertain. Please mark this on your calendar and join us, either onilne in or person.

We're capping our attendees at 200 - and you need to have a ticket through Eventbrite in order to attend.

However, there are two ways to participate, even if you're not able to come join us. We're going to kickoff the inaugural LIVE streaming of this panel on the IXDAsf event page, or view / chat on ustream. Also, keeping in the vein of user research, we've opened up a Quora thread to help set the pace of the audience discussion. If you're interested in attending, or even if you're not - please help us craft a responsible and engaging dialouge so that your voice is heard.

Is there a video of this to watch?

Another successful, informative and fun evening hosted by IxDASF! Thanks again to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, presenters and attendees. Looks for more fun events brought to you by IxDA.

Oh no I'm so sorry to my fellow Jewish homies - I'm the one that picked this date and my mom is going to kill me. I honestly feel pretty awful about this and realized that my trusty iCal subscription to Jewish Holidays must have broken while I was setting up my new computer. This might be the first time I miss services in like 15 years so I really hope I can do some kind of day service to assuage my own sense of commitment, and I hope y'all will forgive me my scheduling blunder.

Really looking forward to this!

For any/all who can't make it for any reason, please note that, as Nick stated, we will have an archive of the talk available to watch later.

This is sure to be an exciting and informative event! Can't wait to see everyone there!

Sorry all - the event has been sold out. We do have a wait list available, however, and I encourage you to show up on the evening of. These events tend to generate a fair percentage of no-shows.

Apologies to all those celebrating Yom Kippur - this was the only date that worked for the panel, as well as the host. Please be encouraged to instead watch the archive of this talk online, or post a question to the Quora thread to help join the discussion.

I am really interested in attending this event but was really disappointed to find that it was scheduled on Yom Kippur. This is the holiest day for many who observer the Jewish religion. I know these things are hard to schedule but I was hoping there was some consideration for this oversight.

It's not clear how to get tickets on eventbrite... is it sold out or have they not gone on sale?

September 26 is Yom Kippur. Please reschedule: it's like holding a professional event on Christmas or Eid.
