Writing and sending your first survey is an anxiety-filled experience. We tried to answer the question, “How might we be able to leverage our data to reduce the anxiety customers experience and increase confidence when creating a survey for the first time?” In this real-world case study, Jonathan Remulla, Product Design Manager at SurveyMonkey, will walk through the journey of designing with machine learning and the value it adds to the SurveyMonkey Customer Experience. We will touch on the end-to-end process, working with data scientists for the first time, validating solutions, and how we’re looking to the future of designing with Machine Learning at SurveyMonkey.

Speaker:

Jonathan Remulla is a Product Design Manager and leads the design for the Core SurveyMonkey Experience - survey-writing, survey-taking, response collection, and data analysis. With over 17 years of experience, he comes from a traditional graphic design and has worked for Ancestry, Incase, and Organic. Jonathan has been teaching UX Design at General Assembly since 2015. He continues to provide client work through his private design practice, Supafrenz.
