A senior design manager from OpenTable shares the biggest lessons of her transition from individual contributor to manager and how she learned to thrive as a leader by drawing from lean UX processes and other tools from her design toolkit.

Leslie Yang, Senior Design Manager, leads product design for the restaurant side of OpenTable. She's focused on growing teams that design for user value and business impact. She accumulates 11 years of experience in design, 2 in Open Table. Previously, she was a Senior Product Designer at Pivotal Labs.
