Event Description

A panel, together with you the audience, will answer tough questions that IxD students are asking, such as: What is IxD? What's a day in the life?  Why did you become an Interaction Designer? How do you stay current? What are the crucial skills?  What industries are asking for IxD? What's an ideal profile and what do you look for in a hire? What is happening in Interaction outside of business? What's the future?

The more that the come, the better the forum!

A distinguished and diverse panel of participants:

Oliver Bayley, "The Freelancer", Bayley Co.

Andrew Dahley, "The Inside Man", Google

Abbe Don, "The Storyteller", IDEO

Marcus Gosling, "The Start-up guy", Rypple

Jacquie Moss, "The Founder", Odopod

Scott Snibbe, "The Artist", Snibbe Interactive

Moderated and hosted by: Kristian Simsarian, Chair of CCA IxD

Panel starts promptly at 7pm, reception at 6:30pm.

We are hoping to bring Scott in the new year to speak about his interaction work with Bjork.

Thank you for hosting this event.  Kristian was a terrific moderator and the event did not feel like 2 hours of sitting @ all.  It was truly inspirational and would love to hear more from Scott Snibbe in the future.
