Over 2 days, discover how to build emotionally intelligent websites, apps, content and campaigns based on the psychology and neuroscience of user emotion, motivation, cognition and behavior.
Through plain language lessons and hands-on exercises, participants will deepen their understanding of the ways that emotions shape behavior, while advancing their ability to build empathetic and engaging technologies.
Participants will develop new skills in applying neuroscience-based design strategies to manage users' stress and motivate usage by targeting numerous emotional systems. Students also learn how to avoid design patterns that accidentally trigger unpleasant emotions and how to manage negative emotions when they do arise.
By the end of this workshop, participants will know how to use emotional design strategies to boost user engagement, usability and conversions through the design of emotionally evoking technologies.
