IxDA SF is happy to announce its annual IxDA conference RedUX!
Late last month over 900 designers converged on Toronto for IxDA's Interaction13 conference. We listened, learned, mingled, and mindmelded with others while trying to stay warm in the frozen north.
As with previous years's conferences, a good number of this year's standout talks came from Bay Area locals who will give their talks live as part of this redux event.
Whether you missed the conference or just missed some of the talks, this is your chance to find out what all those #ixd13 tweets were all about!
Confirmed speakers so far include:
- Gretchen Anderson: Driving Impact not Service Shareholders: Lessons from the Non-Profit World
- Susan Dybbs: Beautiful Failures
- Ben Fullerton: Data Depth and Ingenuity
- Adam Little: Realism in Design
- Carina Ngai: Failed Futures
- Dane Petersen: On Aircraft and Craft
- Dan Saffer: Microinteractions: Designing with Details
- Peter Stahl: Rhythm, Flow, and Style
The RedUX will be Saturday, 3/2, from noon to 5pm at Hot Studio in downtown San Francisco.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Please purchase only if you are sure you're going, as the event will certainly sell out.
Once the tickets sell out, we will start a waiting list with the hope that we'll be able to accommodate a handful more people.
Register (or get added to the wait list) here: http://redux.eventbrite.com/
As ever,
